Harvest May Be Over, But The Journey Continues…

The experience of harvest was to better understand the winemaking process and all that goes into making wine—from grapevine to bottle. I learned so much and have deep respect for the hard work and dedication that goes into the wine making process.

As you know, NOIRE is dedicated to spotlighting and celebrating vintners, wineries and wine brands of color. The wines featured (online & in person) by NOIRE are chosen to reflect the array of diverse, passionate and dynamic individuals following their passion and sharing it with others through wine. I’ve had the opportunity to meet, sit and connect with several individuals behind the wine brands (featured by NOIRE), learning about their unique stories, sharing with them the vision of my business and how I’d like for them to be involved, while also discussing our commitment to continuing the diversity within the wine industry as BIPOC wine professionals. It’s hard not to be inspired by our commitment and passion which is made even stronger by the community we’re building together.

Thank you to the community who has been encouraging and supporting whether that has been through your attendance of a wine tasting event, liked or commented on a post, collaborated with NOIRE or expressed an uplifting and positive message, its greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to continuing this journey with you!

Onward,

A. Jazmine Ladouceur Founder, NOIRE | Noire Wine Lounge
