Aaaaand we’re back with AAAV ✨ Member Mondays ✨ Today, we’re featuring A. Jazmine Ladouceur, Founder & CEO of Noire Wine Lounge in Los Angeles, a wine tasting experience dedicated to celebrating the community of artists, vintners, wineries, and wine brands of color 🤩🙌🏾

🍇 How did you get into the wine industry?
"I wanted to create what I didn’t see within the wine industry. A wine tasting experience reflective of the diversity of our world—so I created it by founding NOIRE Wine Lounge."

👁 What's the vision behind your business Noire Wine Lounge?
"The vision is to provide an approachable yet elevated wine tasting experience that features wines (and art) of vintners, wineries and wine brands of color—Black, Indigenous, Asian and Latinx wines. "

🏞 Why are you in Napa?
"I’m currently in Napa because I was selected to be a Roots Fund Scholar and am placed as a harvest intern for Heitz Cellar! I’m learning first hand about the entire wine making process, from grapes on the vine to wine in the bottle. "

✈️ Travel plans you have coming up?
"While here in Napa, my travel plans include visiting the vineyards and wineries of #bipoc winemakers within Napa and the surrounding cities: i.e. Sebastopol, Paso Robles etc. In July, planning on visiting Mendocino County to visit Theopolis Vineyards and San Francisco for a #bipoc wine makers tasting event. "

🍷 Favorite wine you're drinking right now?
"2019 Thomas T Thomas Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir (tasted during my recent visit to his Vineyard) and a Riesling on the menu at a new favorite hangout spot here in Napa."
